Cocoa, a Strategic Product of Africa

For a few years, I have indicated that at the appropriate time, the African Union must be prepared to convene a Collective Cartel against Western nations who refuse to have fair moral trade with African nations. That cartel would include:

Oil & Gas
Strategic Metals
Gems & Diamonds
Cocoa & Coffee Beans

In the past, the Dutch and other European nations have forced down the price of cocoa beans by buying the product and stockpiling it and then refusing to buy from the three major African nations that produce cocoa beans, Ivory Coast, Ghana and Nigeria. This has hurt those African economies in the past.
